Which devices can play?
Party, nearby friends, and Game Center play support iPhone and iPad running iOS/iPadOS 18 or later. Oracle drawing recognition requires iOS/iPadOS 27 or later, compatible Apple Intelligence hardware, and an available on-device model. The app checks availability before offering Oracle play.
Do we need Apple Intelligence?
No. Choose Party to play with human guessers, or connect with friends. Only the Sketch Oracle’s automatic guesses require Apple Intelligence.
How do I connect an iPhone and an iPad?
Choose Connect with friends, then Nearby Party. Keep both devices nearby, on the same Wi-Fi network, with Bluetooth on. Allow Local Network access. One person hosts and approves the other player’s request. Keep SketchWin open during the match.
For online play, choose Game Center and invite friends. Each player needs a different Game Center account. Using the same Apple account on both devices will not create two distinct online players.
How do I put the drawing on Apple TV?
Connect the iPhone or iPad and Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi network. Open Control Center, choose Screen Mirroring, select your Apple TV, then return to SketchWin. The TV displays a separate purple audience screen with the drawing and countdown. The secret word stays on the artist’s device.
Keep SketchWin in the foreground during a turn. Google TV and Chromecast are not currently supported as a direct casting feature.
How do scoring and results work?
In Party mode, tap They got it when the team guesses correctly. Faster answers and higher difficulty earn more points. At the end, standings show everyone’s score and the winner, or a tie. Connected play awards points to the artist and the first correct guesser.
Where are my saved drawings?
After a local match, open the gallery and save your favorites. Saved sketches on the home screen opens your collection. Saves stay on your device; connected matches do not currently save to the gallery.
Why isn’t the TestFlight link accepting testers?
External beta builds need Apple’s review before testers can join. If TestFlight says the beta is unavailable, access may still be pending or the tester limit may have been reached. The public App Store release is not available yet.
A button stopped responding. What should I send?
Please note the screen, whether the round ended by a correct guess, timeout or skip, and whether you were playing Party, Oracle, or a connected match. Include your device model and app build number. If the app is stuck, close and reopen it; the current match may be lost.
